Encyclopedia - RAF2000

Bernard J. Haseloh from Ponoka, Canada developed the twin seater Gyrocopter, RAF2000 in 1989. Rotary Air Force South Africa (Pty) Ltd. acquired the rights to the RAF2000 in April 2007 and has been producing RAF2000s in Upington, South Africa since.

RAF SA produces close to 100% of all components required to assemble the RAF2000 inhouse, even the rotor blades are produced in their composites workshop.
